I won this 10 day, 2000K mile ride on a Triumph Tiger Explorer with 17 other guys (yes... I was the only girl!) through Morocco. It was the journey of a lifetime!!!!
After seeing all the pictures of the trip on her Facebook page and this video, I'm a little jealous but also very happy for her. What a trip and adventure she had in the desert with a brand new Triumph Tiger Explorer. I hope to one day do an adventure like hers. I will try to get a few pictures from her to show on my blog, hopefully she will even write her account of the trip for me.
Look for the "ponytail" in the video.

Looks and sounds like a wonderful trip. One of these days....
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I would love to do it
DeleteThat must be one tough bike
ReplyDeleteGeez...it is ok, I am not jealous, (much).
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing what a great trip to win.
Same here :-)
DeleteI have been following the videos on facebook and thought it looked like great fun. I entered the contest of course but didn't win. It is neat to know someone who knows someone that won.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you'll sweet talk her out of those photos to share. Maybe get her to do a guest write-up.
I saw some of the photos, beautiful locations and roads. I will try to get her to write something :-)
DeleteI have never done this blogge before and am very technically challenged! I can however hold my own on a bike... especially after 2000K in 10 days in the high Atlas mountain twisties, dirt riding, and the desert of Morocco... not to mention donkeys, goats, sheep and tour busses around many hairpin turns!!! I really think riding in the large cities of Marrakech and Fez were the most difficult. There are no rules of the road... with donkey carts and bicycles added to the crazy traffic!!
DeleteI loved every moment of this wonderful adventure... It was the journey of a lifetime. What a gift!!!!
That is very cool Kim. The video looks like you all had a great time. George, we can always go do a ride like that in Morocco. You are after all getting in some off road practice by riding to Alaska.....
DeleteGeorge:
ReplyDeletehow lucky can a person be ? I seldom enter contests, it mostly encourages lots of unwanted emails. Hope she sends you some photos

WOW!! What a wonderful trip! Please Kim, share pics and stories!
ReplyDeleteI will see if I can get some pictures ;-)
DeleteI won a scale model Yamaha M-1 and a $60 vouched on Facebook the other day.
ReplyDeleteAlmost as good, almost...
Sooo jealous!
