2013 Review

My 2013 review slide show covering various trips across the US.   2013 wasn't a great year for me as far as motorcycle adventures.   I started a new job as a consultant at the end of 2012 and became full time employee in March 2013.  I didn't have enough vacation in my first year and with my photography business in full swing I didn't have many free weekends either.
I still managed to make one big trip to New Mexico and Colorado for the second Yamaha Super Tenere gathering at the end of June.  During the Colorado trip I rode in 109 degree temperature in Oklahoma and later in the year, while returning home from South Carolina from a trip to see a friend, I rode in the low 30's.

2013 was the year I bought a dirt bike, a Suzuki DR-350, and still managed to squeeze in a few dirt rides with friends.

I'm happy and glad I was able to put all the rides together but hope 2014 will bring all new and even better adventures.

  2. Happy New Year, George!
2013 also wasn't a big riding year for me due to our move to Germany, however, it's not about the mileage, it's about the fun you've had and the people you've met. Thanks for putting up this lovely slideshow. I hope you'll be undertaking some great trips in in 2014.

  3. Very cool George! Glad to be included! I like that you visited some of the oddball places we did, such as the Warm Glow Candle Outlet. LOL!

  4. George, you've put together a nice slide show of pictures. It looks like the Yamaha Super Tenere get together draws a bigger crowd than the FJR rallies!
    Have a good year!

    1. Thanks Erik. When are you visiting NJ?
Yea, there were about 75 Tenere's in Ouray, Colorado for the event, it was pretty nice and beautiful landscapes.
